Laptop battery can't charge?


If you are trying to charge your laptop battery many times, but it's not working, that means battery can't charge. Do you know why your laptop battery can't charge? It may be caused by your laptop or laptop battery or also AC adapter?



1-st step: Try cleaning contacts on the laptop battery. Ensure that notebook’s power adapter connected to the power and another part of the cable connected with the notebook.



If you can't restart your laptop, it should be a problem with power adapter. I would suggest you replace the ac adapter.



If notebook battery is very hot when charging, most likely it will not be charged. Generally laptop battery is not charged after too many plug in/out times. You should take the battery out of laptop. After 1 hours, when battery temperature lower, you need to install the battery to the laptop and charging.



To prevent over-discharge or other wrong operations laptop battery have a automatic battery protection CMOS chip. At times CMOS chip will start the automatic protection and lock the battery to forbid charging. So you have to store your battery in a cool dry area for about 3-5 days to unlock once. If it's not working you must send your battery to repair center or buy a new laptop battery.



Notice: don't over charge or discharge laptop battery too many times.
