Sony has initiated a review of power supplies VAIO because of the danger of short circuit.

The model, which is to be replaced is called VGP-AC19V17. This adapter comes with mono blocks series VAIO VGC-LT VGC-JS2 and docking station and notebook VAIO VGP-PRBX1 and VGP-PRFE1.

Results for the period from September 2005 to October 2009 was sold about 69 thousand power supplies. Consumers advised to stop using them and contact Sony for a free replacement.
