Today in New York, Sony has officially introduced the "World's Lightest" Laptop VAIO X. The device is equipped with 11.1-inch screen with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels and weighs only is 700g. The notebook has a Carbon chassis and comes in two color options - black and gold.
Characteristics of the device include: Intel Atom Z550 processor with a frequency of 2GHz, 2GB memory, graphics GMA 500, and SSD drives 64 or 128Gb. On board also has Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi, card reader (Memory Stick and SD), 2 x USB, VGA.
The device comes with a Bluetooth and 3G. Autonomy time (with the use of larger batteries, which is included and weighs about 400 grams) reaches 14 hours. When using the standard battery, it ranges from 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on your energy consumption.
Their price starts from $ 1299 (for the model with a 64GB SSD). For a device with 128GB SSD will have to pay $ 1499.
