The world demand for lithium-ion batteries is reduced

According to information from a Japanese research firm Techno Systems Research (TSR), global demand for lithium-ion batteries was 577.5 million in the first quarter of this year. This is 15% less than in the previous quarter. In the first quarter, company Sanyo was the batteries market leader with 20% of market share, second place - Samsung (16%), third - LG Chemical (10%).
