Windows 7 - is not service-pack

Windows Vista, to the greatest regret Microsoft, not able to conquer the trust of users. OS not only was coldly met numerous retail users but also by corporate clients which did not simply want to pass to the new platform from problems with compatibility. Now the company is preparing to release its new product - Windows 7. Will whether this release is a valid step forward or developers will produce a raw and imperfect thing again?

One of the vice presidents of Microsoft (Bill Veghte), responsible for Windows-line, confident that consumers will not be disappointed. Windows 7 - this is not the service pack, but the full-fledged new solution which is compatible with various computers and programs.

Beta testing should begin in January 2009. Many developers, who saw a working version of the system, respond with it as about the most high-quality Windows product that they have ever seen. Pending beta will be compatible with Vista. Microsoft does not rewrite graphics drivers, that must eliminate the great number of problems. Vice-president singled out two main features of Windows 7: «direct access» is more comfortable method to contact with an office, what VPN (virtual private network), and also possibility to distribute functional between working and domestic (entertaining) due to task forces.
